Audio-Visual Equipment
The Neuadd Dyfi boasts a modern audio-visual system, which includes:
- an Epson H71B 5000 ANSI lumens, suitable for use in well-lit environments.: Ideal for presentations, movie screenings, and visual displays.
- In the main hall we have a 3m by 3m drop down Projection Screen: Ensures clear imagery from a wide viewing angle. In the Studio projecting onto the wall works well.
- Both the Main hall and the Studio have in built sound system: with microphones, speakers, and amplifiers to cater to different audio needs, whether it’s for a small meeting or a full-scale concert. There is an Allen and Heath Q32 front of house main desk with a digital stage box. There is also a Yamaha 12 channel desk stage left that can be configured for fitness class to small concerts
- Lighting System: We have a Zero 88 FLX main desk with a back up Solution desk. Versatile lighting options, allowing digital control of LED fixtures namely 15 Selecon Cycs, 10 PL1 spots and Fresnels on three stage lighting bars, plus two front of house lighting bars with 5 ETC ColorSource Fresnel V various spotlights, and dimmable chandeliers to create the perfect atmosphere for any event.
Staging and Seating
The main hall is equipped with:
- A flat floor area front of stage: be arranged in various configurations to suit different events. Up to 165 theatre style types of performances and events.
- Seating Arrangement: Comfortable seating that can be arranged to accommodate up to 400 guests for a concert or theatre event, ensuring everyone has a clear view of the stage.
Conference Facilities
For meetings, workshops, and conferences, the Neuadd Dyfi provides:
- Conference Tables and Chairs: Adaptable furniture that can be set up in various layouts, from boardroom to classroom styles.
- Flip Charts and Whiteboards: Essential tools for brainstorming sessions and interactive presentations.
- Wi-Fi Access: Reliable internet connectivity to support online presentations, video conferencing, and other digital needs. We have two PTX PtzOptic cameras that can be used for live streaming or recording events.
Catering and Kitchen Facilities
The Neuadd Dyfi has:
- Fully-Equipped Kitchen: A modern kitchen with two electric/gas hob stoves ovens, microwave, water boiler ,two large refrigerators, and a commercial dishwasher, enabling efficient meal preparation and catering services.
- Catering Equipment: Crockery, cutlery, glasses, and serving utensils available for use during events. Sufficient to cater for up to 100 guests
Additional Amenities
The Neuadd Dyfi also offers:
- 5 minutes walking distance to the Aberdyfi railway station
- Disabled Access: Facilities to ensure accessibility for all guests, including ramps and accessible toilets.
- Parking: spaces close to the hall and walking distance from the main Aberdyfi car park, with designated spots for disabled parking.
- Outdoor Spaces: A small garden at the rear and easy access to the Aberdyfi beach that can be used for open-air events and activities.
